The Texas Pipe Clubs Co-Op and the Texas Pipe Show have worked with Nathan Davis at Kaywoodie to produce an official Pipe of the Year for the Texas Pipe Clubs to be delivered at the Texas Pipe Show in November. The pipe is a bulldog shape with the Texas Pipe Show stamp on the shank. There is a blast and a smooth version available, but the smooth versions are limited to around 10-12, depending on what Nathan is able to produce by the time the show comes around. There is a slight cost increase for the smooth over the blast version. Both are stained with a similar red-brown stain. These pipes will be pre-sold online, and it’s very unlikely there will be any at the show to buy.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be no shipping for these pipes. You MUST pick your pipe up at the show or arrange for it to be picked up. Again, we will NOT be shipping these pipes. Plan accordingly.
Note: Nathan at Kaywoodie states that the smooths will have some imperfections (minor flaws), as he shies away from doing fills, feeling that it detracts from the pipe. We feel this is perfectly fine because of the value of the pipe at this price point simply cannot be beat.
